Gurutze Gorriaren Nazioarteko Batzordeak (ICRC, International Committee of the Red Cross) bere zerbitzari informatikoen aurka zuzendutako zibereraso bat jasan du. Ondorioz, oso zaurgarriak diren eta hainbat egoerengatik kaltetuak izan diren 515.000 pertsona baino gehiagoren datu pertsonalak eta konfidentzialak arriskutan jarri ziren.
Zabaldutako informazioa Gurutze Gorriaren nazioarteko 60 sozietateetakoa da gutxienez. Robert Mardini zuzendari nagusiak adierazi du oraindik ez dakitela nor edo zer talde egon daitekeen eraso honen atzean, ezta horren asmoak zein diren ere.
